First it was a Phoenix Wright parody, now its Guile, of Street Fighter fame, making a surprise cameo appearance in the super cute anime, Lucky Star.

My question is, why didn’t Guile fight back at all? Anyways, excuse me, as I have to go hug my Guile plushy now.

Decisions about the game at every level (including whether or not it should even exist!) were shaped by the voice of the player community and direct feedback from the Capcom Forums, and have helped to make the game totally amazing.

SFDevotion of Udon Comics sends word that they’ve revamped their Capcom Comics Preview site and added a bunch of Capcom books for fans to browse through. Titles include Udon’s Art of Capcom, Street Fighter The Ultimate Edition, DarkStalkers, Alpha Mangas, Sakura Ganbaru, Onimusha Mangas and even an animated trailer with voice and sound.

Back on September 21st, Microsoft Japan held an invitation-only awards ceremony in Japan. At the event, Capcom was surprisingly awarded the “Great XBLA Award” (The XBOX Live Arcade “GOTY” award) for Street Fighter II: Hyper Fighting.

Now this is definitely great and all, but what’s odd is that Hyper Fighting wasn’t even released/published on Japan XBLA, meaning it was just Japanese players playing on accounts registered elsewhere that have made the title a smash success over there as well.

Japanese gamers. They’re in our region, playing our games.
