As of about 15 minutes ago, our Data Post section of our LP Community website received a major upgrade.

Now, you can see the top 25 medal earners in each game type, leaderboards for country, weekly and monthly stats, a scrolling weekly point leader ranking, and you can even enter your own gamertag and get up-to-the-minute stats like medals earned, overall, monthly and weekly point totals, and your overall, monthly and weekly ranking.

So check it out and let me know what you think!

Lost Planet PC XP Vista DX9 DX10So you’ve heard the news, seen the screenshots (most of which were taken with yours truly at the helm), and tweaked out your PC so you’re ready to play Lost Planet with your mighty mouse and keyboard.

The full PC version will be out at the end of June for just under $40, but starting next Tuesday, May 15 at 6PM PST, you’ll be able download the demo straight to you computer to test drive.

The demo will let you play through 2 levels: the Akrid hive and the pirate fortress. If you played the Xbox 360 demo for the game, it’s the same two levels. You can play with mouse and keyboard, or plug in an Xbox 360 controller if that feels more natural for you.

It’ll run on both XP and Vista, and both DX9- and DX10-compatible video cards, with some special graphical enhancements done just for the PC version (not to mention it looks sweet at ultra-high res). And the full version will feature 16-player multiplayer over the Internet or LAN when it comes out.

See the full press release HERE.

I can’t wait to hear what you guys think of it!
